Immigration and Customs Enforcement

Today we’re going to discuss a little about National Security and safety issues. Many people believe there is little effect on local issues when National Security issues are discussed. This could not be farther from the truth. I don’t think any rational individual could say the US Borders are secure. Some make it seem like only criminals and terrorists are pouring over our borders. Others claim they’re all hardworking individuals looking for a better life. Both of those groups are being less than honest. The truth is there are good, honest, hardworking people coming into the Country. At the same time, there are criminals and terrorists coming into the Country.

We, as a Country, cannot afford to let the latter in. We have immigration laws in place now but they are not being followed. Many are calling for immigration reform. Maybe it’s needed, maybe it should be debated and the laws should be changed. Until that time, the borders must be secured. There is a right way and a wrong way to come into the Country. A legal way and an illegal way. I’m not even going to talk about fair and unfair. It’s a simple matter of right and wrong. Right and wrong used to be taught in the home and schools. Is it still taught? If so, everyone would know not to support people who break the law. You follow the laws. You don’t like the law, work to change it… legally.

Everyday Americans are being killed or assaulted by people here illegally. I just read an article quoting I.C.E. in Maryland. They stated 153 illegal immigrants in the very small state of Maryland are sexual predators… 153! Now think about the number in states like CA, TX, AZ, or FL. How many are in those states? How many have been flown to other states in secret under the cover of darkness by our current Administration? The number is enormous. Our streets, our children are not really as safe as they could be. The reason is simple. The border is not secure. These people have not been vetted. Politicians are playing games with US Citizens safety.

I’ll do everything I can to prevent it. No Sanctuary Cities. No voting rights for non-citizens. No taxpayer dollars for illegal immigrants. Eliminate the incentive and the problem will be reduced. Support legal immigration and review the current policies. This Country was founded by immigrants. Those people were honest, hardworking individuals. They built this Country. They were proud when they became citizens. Let’s honor their legacy. Let’s get back to enforcing our immigration laws. We owe it to our ancestors and to our children and grandchildren. Anyone who can’t see and understand that does not deserve to be elected.
